Multimedia Producer | Tampa, FL

REPORTS TO:

Executive Producer

JOB TYPE:

Full-Time (40 hours a week)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create video content for broadcast, digital and marketing media
  • Develop creative and strategic pitches, treatments and ideas to expand and maintain WEDU PBS brand
  • Produce compelling projects from conception to completion across all WEDU departments, including brand campaigns, image spots, sizzle reels, promotional material and other projects as assigned
  • Utilize broad creative skillset, including producing, writing, directing, editing, graphics and animation
  • Ensure that all work meets brand guidelines and editorial standards
  • Develop project timelines and manage project budgets
  • Provide creative direction and feedback to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Build meaningful connections to community members through impactful production and messaging
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in relevant field such as film, media, or communications, or 3+ years work experience as a content creator in a similar role
  • Master proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including AfterEffects, Premiere and Photoshop
  • Dynamic visual, creative and conceptual thinking skills
  • Collaborative mindset and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and organizational needs

Tampa, FL 33607 Ability to commute/relocate before starting work.
