STUDIO 2

Studio 2 is where we shoot most of our local programming on-site and live WEDU Pledge Events.

We have two smaller studio spaces that are about 1200 square feet, or one-fourth the size of our large studio. Studio 2 is utilized for most of our local programming, including Suncoast Business Forum featuring the movers and shakers of Tampa Bay interviewed by host Geoff Simon.  It is also the main studio for our WEDU Pledge Events, which have included guests Sarah Brightman, Joe Bonamassa, Pavlo, Benise, Deepak Chopra, Dick Smothers, David Foster & Celtic Thunder, Suze Orman… just a few of the live studio guests supporting PBS during our pledge drives.  Studio 2 is also available for smaller events, workshops, or classroom-style presentations for in-house and outside clients.  When a production or event in the large studio needs additional space, it has been used as a furniture storage room, a wrestlers’ dressing room, a production office, and a quiet space for talent.
