Celebrating Jewish Heritage Month | Blue with sparkles

The month of May celebrates Jewish American Heritage Month as an annual recognition of American Jews' achievements and contributions to the United States of America. In April of 2006, President George Bush became the first United States President to dedicate the full month of May as a time to reflect and learn about the unique history and impact of Jewish Americans.

In celebration of Jewish American heritage, WEDU PBS invites you to explore Jewish Americans' past and present accomplishments and identities. Below you will find programming that educates and engages you about the importance of Jewish American history.
