PBS KIDS | Family & Community Learning

OVERVIEW

WEDU PBS KIDS’ Family & Community Learning (FCL) workshops engage families in active, hands-on learning experiences on a variety of topics. Designed for families with kids ages 3–5 or 5–8, the work-shops use creative play and exploration to introduce kids and grown-ups to digital and tangible tools that can be used to develop knowledge, practices, and perspectives. Through child-led activities and experiences, the workshops foster collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills among family members.

Each Family & Community Learning topic features a series of workshops.

Events can be virtual or in-person and include 3–4 90-minute sessions per topic.
